Vacuum oil VM-1s (TU 38.1011187-88) is produced from sulfurous or low-sulfur paraffinic crudes through deep purification and special multi-stage fine vacuum distillation. It has high hydrolytic and antioxidant stability. Due to the sufficiently low saturated vapor pressure, the oil VM-1s has low volatility, which is an important operational characteristic. It is characterized by lower kinematic viscosity compared to the oil VM-1.

Used as a working fluid in high-performance high-vacuum oil-sealed pumps or as a sealing liquid in mechanical pumps with oil seals. Due to its low gas solubility and high oxidation stability, VM-1s oil provides a long operational lifespan for vacuum equipment.
