VM-3 oil (TU 38.401-58-3-90) is a working fluid for high-performance steam-oil booster, auxiliary steam-jet, and special forevacuum pumps. The range of working fluids for vacuum-generating equipment includes well-refined mineral (oil) and some synthetic products, referred to as vacuum oils. Due to the specific operating conditions of vacuum-generating machinery, the main indicators of vacuum oils are viscosity, vapor pressure, ultimate residual pressure, and stability against oxidation.
