Description Characteristics Application

VM-4 oil (TU 38.401-58-3-90) is the working fluid for high-performance steam-oil booster, auxiliary steam-jet, and special forevacuum pumps, as well as for mechanical vacuum pumps with oil sealing. The range of working fluids for vacuum-creating equipment includes well-refined mineral (oil) and some synthetic products, referred to as vacuum oils. Due to the specific operating conditions of vacuum-creating equipment, the main parameters of vacuum oils are viscosity, saturated vapor pressure, ultimate residual pressure, and oxidation stability.
