VM-6 oil (TU 38.401-58-3-90) is the working fluid for mechanical vacuum pumps with oil sealing. The assortment of working fluid for vacuum-generating equipment includes well-refined mineral (oil) and some synthetic products, referred to as vacuum oils. Due to the specific operating conditions of vacuum-generating equipment, the main indicators of vacuum oils are viscosity, saturated vapor pressure, ultimate residual pressure, and stability against oxidation.
