Motor oil M-10G2k (GOST 8581-2021) differs from M-8G2 and M-10G2 only by significantly more effective additive compositions, which allows for extending oil change intervals and successfully using M-10G2k oil in modern KamAZ and ZIL vehicles, as well as in Ikarus buses. Oils of group G2 are produced from sour and low-sulfur crude oils. All oils in this group contain significantly more effective additives than oils in group B2.

Description
Application
The high degree of lubrication of oils of group G2 allows them to be used in more severe conditions where high thermal stability, better anti-oxidative, washing-dispersing, neutralizing, and anti-wear properties are required. High-speed diesel engines lubricated with oils of group G2 operate on distillate fuels with a sulfur content of up to 0.5% (mass fraction), while medium- and low-speed marine diesel engines with a large cylinder diameter operate on fuels with a sulfur content of up to 1.5% (mass fraction).
