MS-8P oil (OST 38.101163-78) is the most widely used oil based on petroleum with a complex of highly efficient additives. It is produced from West Siberian oil and a blend of West Siberian and Ural oils. MS-8P oil is designed for gas turbine engines of subsonic and supersonic aircraft, where the oil temperature at the engine outlet does not exceed 150°C.
MS-8p
Description
Application
It is used in the composition of oil mixtures with aviation oil MS-20 (in a ratio of 25:75, 50:50, and 75:25) in turboprop engines, as well as for the preservation of oil systems in aviation engines. It is applied in ship gas turbine installations and in gas pumping units. Oil MS-8P was developed as a replacement for oil MK-8 and MK-8p; it significantly outperforms them in a number of operational indicators, in particular, in viscosity at low temperatures, thermo-oxidative stability, and service life.
